 World Environment Day 2022.

World Environment Day is observed on 5th of June every year and in 2022 it is observed on 5th June (Sunday). It is led by the United Nations Environment programme (UNEP) every year. 


The theme of World Environment Day 2022 is " ONLY ONE EARTH", it held annually since 1973 by the UNEP, it has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental outreach. It is celebrated by millions of people from all across the world. 

This time Sweden is that country who hosted the world Environment Day 2022 and this country make the slogan "only one earth" for the 2022 world Environment Day with the focus on " living sustainably in harmony with nature".


Did you guys know ?

Plastic packaging accounts for 50 % of plastic waste.

In the universe there are billions of galaxies, In our galaxy are billions of planets,  but there is #only one earth among these planets. So

Let's take care of it.




Why take part ?

Time is running out and nature and  environment is in an emergency mode . To keep Global warming low in this is exclusively important century we must halve greenhouse gas emissions, to keep air pollution at the safe guidelines, to keep control over plastic packages .

We all people need urgent action to address  these pressing issues and try to make and save the "only one earth".



World Environment Day 2022: PM Modi to attend event on 'Save Soil Movement'



On the occasion of the world Environment Day 2022 , prime minister Sh. Narendra Modi will attend a programme on 'save soil movement' programme at Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan on 5th of June (Sunday), the PM's office was informed on Saturday.

Prime Minister Modi will address the Nation and he will talk about the world Environment Day 2022 and to save our only one earth.
