UAE president Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan passes away, aged 73.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's name is most familiar for its connection to the world's tallest building the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
the name of the tower was switched from the Burj Dubai to Burj Khalifa in 2010 in a show of gratitude towards the late ruler, whose oil-rich Emirate helped mail Dubai out during financial crisis.

Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan was the president of the UAE since 2004 but his role had been largely ceremonial since he separated stroke in 2014. After his stroke, he was rarely seen in public, Aldo hi continue to issue rulings.

Sheikh Khalifa to cover as the UAE's second president in November 2004, succeeding his father as the 16th ruler of Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Khalifa was also the ruler of Abu Dhabi, the oil-rich capital of the seven Emirates which comprise the UAE.
His half-brother, Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, is now in charge of state affairs.

According to home ministry guidelines, 'state funeral' is officially according in the event of the death of the president, prime minister, formal President or governor, seating cabinet, ministers, governors, lieutenant governors, lok sabha speaker, chief justice of the supreme court, chief ministers and Bharat Ratna awardees. however, the central government has the authority to order a 'straight funeral' for other dignitaries or individuals who have made significant contributions towards the nation.

India is UAE's largest exports destination and trading partner with bilateral trade turnover of US$ 68.4 billion during the calendar year 2021.
UAE is exports to India is today at US$ 43.04 billion while India's exports to UAE student US$ 25.4 billion. In 2022 India and UAE signed a comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA) with a name of taking bilateral trade to US$ 100 billion within 5 years.
